May 5th Fishing Report
Mostly sunny, with a high near 56. West wind 10 to 15 mph.
Creeks are clear to slightly stained, temperatures in the mid 50s.
The mini heat wave is gone, and temperatures are normal to a bit chilly for this time of year. Bankside vegetation is still low.
We don’t expect much to change. We’re still nymphing in the mornings, then switching to some dries in the afternoon when we see fish rising. Caddis are the main menu item (more tan than black lately) with a side of craneflies.
