May 1st Fishing Report

Partly sunny, with a high near 54. Light north wind becoming northwest 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
Creeks are clear to slightly stained with temperatures in the low 50s.
We still can’t really explain why, but orange bodied foam patterns have been hot lately.  Hippie stompers, stupid orange beetles, training wheels.  For your edible indicators, try something orange!
Subsurface fishing has been good on the normal stuff, thinner in the morning, thicker profile in the afternoon and with a bit of flash.
We are seeing hatches of caddis and craneflies mostly in the later part of the day.
