October 6th Fishing Report
Showers likely, mainly after 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 58. North wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Finally! The heat wave is over and great temperatures for the rest of the season. Weather is a 100% go from here through the 15th. (Remember Wisconsin trout season closes completely after the 15th of October)
. We did get about 1/2 inch of rain area wide which will not do anything significant to the creeks mud/stain wise.
. The only risk is that today is such a large shock to the fish that they are a bit fussy early on.
. Watch for olives and a few caddis hatching in the afternoon. other wise fish an edible indicator (hopper, beetle, foam thing…) with a bead head below.
